Airbnb is a great way to get the most out of your vacation and save some money. Airbnb is regular people, renting out their homes for you to stay in while on vacation. It can be either a whole house, an apartment or a room.
While in Puerto Rico we stayed at a couple of Airbnbs and one of them was Miramar (room 2) in San Juan.

This place is in a quite good location. It takes you about 15 minutes to walk to Condado – the Miami of Puerto Rico. A 10 minute walk to the bus stop that takes you straight to Old Town.
At the “hotel” you get all the information you need from the very friendly staff. And even better – you can help your self to some sunscreen. If you missed the sunscreen you can use the after sun lotion instead with soothing Aloe Vera. It feels great to come here and feel welcome.

Shared bathrooms

Ok so the room does not have separate bathroom – you have to share. We never spend much time at the hotel and we are used to sharing bathrooms. The only downside here was that the lights were out in one of the bathrooms. There were two, but with more people then us, we often found ourselves in tricky situations. Wait or pee in the dark? Jokes a side, we liked our stay here and would recomend it to anyone that does not mind sharing bathrooms 🙂
