I worked my last day at the local newspaper (Kristianstadsbladet) and straight after work, we headed for the ferry to Hamburg, Germany. Now we will be spending a week there, exploring the city!

Goodbye Kristianstadsbladet
I have been working there for ten weeks this summer and it has been great. I like being at the local newspaper during the summer. I get to write about things I normally wouldn’t and I meet a lot of people. During my last day, I got to join a tour that was a musical- and food walking tour.
I got to eat one of the best asparagus soups I ever had and I even got to sing along to songs from The Jungle Book. A perfect ending to a great summer. I literally love all of my co-workers and I will miss them. But now we are heading for new adventures and that is exciting!
Hamburg for the second time
The first time we went to Hamburg, we just drove there to see a Cirque du Soleil show. Then we didn’t have time to explore the city. The show was great and it was totally worth the drive (500 kilometers). In case some of you don’t know – Cirque du Soleil is like a religion for me!
So now, several years later, we are back in Hamburg and this time the focus is on exploring the city. We have some things already planned, like visiting some of the main highlights and eating at some really awesome restaurants. We have gotten great help from the Hamburg Marketing GmbH and Tyska Turistbyrån (in Sweden). We are here to explore from morning till night and then write about it! Both here, on Finally Lost, but also for the Swedish travel magazine, Min Husbil
Now I will continue on nagging my husband so that he will take me to the Cirque du Soleil show that is currently playing in Hamburg – wish me luck!
