After years of talking about it, we are finally here. Sunday evening we took the ferry to Poland. We went to sleep in Sweden and woke up in Poland. I just want to say yay to all the technology we use! We can Skype, call, video chat, text and everything. This way we can keep in touch with everyone!

Finally lost – In Poland

The funniest thing is when people kept asking us if we were packed and ready to go. We have been packed and living in our motorhome for several months now so yeah we are packed and ready. It feels unreal and we are so happy! Sure Poland has the same climate as Sweden so it’s getting colder now but we are still staying in Poland for a week (or two).

After that, we are heading for Portugal but we have not yet planned the trip and what Countries we will be crossing!

Fun and scary at the same time to travel for a living

In Sweden we have jobs coming in at a steady pace. Mini has been working a lot as a photographer for Atelje Lyktan. It’s a company that sells really good looking lamps. He has been their photographer and taking pictures of the lamps in the right environment. I have been working at our local newspaper and we have been making some good money.

Now we are leaving all of that behind. We know that we can make money in Sweden but how about the rest of the world? Somehow we need to make it work but it’s a little scary. I think that all that’s unknown is a little bit scary. But it’s also exciting! And if anyone wants to come and visit – you are more than welcome.

Sad and Happy at the same time

I cried my eyes out when I was hugging the family goodbye. And I kept crying most of the way to the ferry. This is the first time we will spend so long time apart from our family and it really hurts. But at the same time, we know that they will visit us wherever we are so it feels better. I didn’t know that I was going to cry that much. Mini was trying to comfort me and driving at the same time. But I feel a lot better now. Ok, so I called my sister twice while waiting for the ferry and I’m pretty sure that I will call back home daily 🙂
