Vignette is a kind of road tax that all motorists have to buy to drive on the Czech highways. We were fortunate to get information about this before we drove to Prague. Without the sticker it could have been very expensive.

Don’t forget to buy a vignette sticker
Vignette is a sticker that is placed in the front of the car window(down in the right-hand corner). Mini and I he drove into the Czech Republic and then stopped at the first big gas station and bought our sticker. Paste it on the Window and of we go. Then the Czech Republic was ours to explore 🙂
Cameras are watching you
We have no idea how it works. But we think that the cameras on the side of the road are getting if you have or don’t have a valid vignette. Or, I guess it’s the police who stop cars without valid tickets and the cameras is just an empty shell.
The little sticker in the Czech Republic 2015 for ten days is 16: -euro. The least days you can buy is for ten days, then there is also for a month or for a whole year.
It may be good for everyone to know that some countries require vignette (okay, honestly, we had no idea).
