Our travels have taken us from European backroads and coastal towns to places much farther afield. Some journeys were carefully planned, while others led us somewhere we never expected to go. Along the way, we’ve discovered places worth returning to, experiences worth remembering and plenty of stories worth sharing.

Most visited – Europe
Europe has been at the heart of our travels for many years. We have explored far more of Europe than any other part of the world, travelling through countries, returning to places we love and constantly finding new reasons to take another road.
We are Swedish, so naturally, Sweden has a special place in our travel stories. We have spent a lot of time exploring Dalarna, Stockholm and Skåne, but there is still plenty of Sweden left on our list. That is one of the things we love about travelling close to home — there is always another place to discover.
Denmark, Germany, Spain, Austria and Portugal are countries we have returned to many times. Some have become almost familiar, while others still surprise us every time we visit. We have travelled through Poland and the Czech Republic quite extensively as well, discovering everything from historic cities and beautiful countryside to places we never expected to find.
And then there is Turkey — a destination with a particularly memorable place in our travel history. It was here that we learned to ski. Yes, ski in Turkey! It was one of those experiences that reminded us why we love travelling: sometimes the most unexpected places give you the best stories.
There is still so much of Europe left to explore. More roads to follow, more places to return to and, of course, plenty of places we have never seen before.
