Beautiful place with the most amazing menu I have ever seen. This place is just by the church in the city center of Gdansk. I could have spent hours just looking at the menu. Not for the choices of food but the nice pictures and flowers in the menu. And this restaurant also offers you live music! 

Piwna 47 Food & Wine

So they have a couple of tables outside that somewhat reminded me of the restaurants in France. Since we were quite a big group we got a table upstairs. Since we had been eating all day we were not that hungry so Mini and I decided to share one entree and one main course. For the entree, we chose the Beef Carpaccio with truffle oil, rucola, parmesan, capers, red onions, and baguette. It was super good!

The problem was that the kitchen misunderstood us and we waited and waited for the rest of the food.When it didn’t enter we finally started eating the Carpaccio and after we finished it the rest of the food came in fast. And that was just as good. For the main course, we chose the Caramelized ribs in honey, baked potatoes, salad and a selection of sauces.

Even if Mini and I chose the ribs we felt that the menu was really original and fun. One in our party chose the fish. It was Grouper with potatoes, spinach, green beans, radish, orange, and chocolate. Yes, chocolate and orange sauce. She didn’t taste the chocolate so either it was a really small amount or they had changed it into something else. But either way, all of us were thrilled with the food.

And their dessert was just as amazing as the rest of the food. During our meal, there was a troubadour and he was really good. He was singing American classics on the worlds coolest guitar ever! This was also the place where we drank the Goldwasser.
