We are yet to get used to being back in Sweden when it is time to leave the country and head back to the Canary Islands. This time we are going to La Gomera. It is the Eco-tourism club Spain that has invited us and we are super excited! Join us as we explore the island of La Gomera.

Flying with Brussels Airlines
Getting from Copenhagen to La Gomera, we flew with Brussels Airlines. First, we took a flight to Brussels and then we had a connecting flight to Tenerife. Actually, I am sitting on the plain, writing this now (even if it will be published later). We are looking forward to meeting the other bloggers from the other countries and we can’t wait to explore the island.
We have never been to La Gomera before so this will be a great experience with a packed schedule. It is so awesome to go on press trips and blog trips because there are professionals all around us that have made the plans. We get to see a lot of things and the days are packed – just the way we like it!
Stressful start of the day
At first, I was not planning on mentioning the problems that we had this morning but come to think of it – I feel that this is an issue that is important to speak about. The thing is that trains in Sweden are not working as they should. We almost missed our flight even if we started our trip a lot earlier than needed.
First, the train had some technical problems and we all had to disembark in Malmö. They said that it would take 20 minutes until the next train arrived but that was not the case. When the train finally arrived there were so many people on board that it quickly got crazy. People were getting upset that they would miss their flights (us included). The people working there were just unfriendly and not helpful at all. After yet another half hour, everyone had to get of the train and move to another one. A lot of people headed for the taxis instead to make it to Copenhagen in time. Finally, we arrived at the airport and with the help of the friendly staff at the airport, we made it on time!
La Gomera – we are ready for you!
We will update you with all of the things that we do while in La Gomera, but first, there is a post about Gran Canaria that is scheduled for you guys. It is about our visit to a wine farm and coffee farm in Agaete. It will be published soon – hope you like it!
Did I say that we are super excited to visit La Gomera?!
