There is no shortage of shoppingmalls in Bangkok, thats for sure. The fun thing is that the different shoppingmalls in Thailand are not all the same. For example, in Dubai a lot of the malls are similar, same stores and same prices. This is not the case in Bangkok. Welcome to Siam Centre – the mall that feels like an art gallery.

Siam Center, Bangkok Thailand
I am not a huge shoppingfan but I really liked this shoppingmall. Ok I did not buy a lot of stuff here, however I did love to walk around here. This shoppingmall is a attraction by itself. The stores are all dulled up to look more like something that you might see at a contemporary art museum. Even the Adidas store was different from what we are used to. Mannequins with huge heads, or no heads at all. Hangers tangled together into something that can only be called as art. Over 200 international and Thai brands including the boutiques of some brilliant promising local designers as well as renowned Thai couturiers.
Just walking around here makes you happy! And the only thing that I can complain about is the crappy wifi that you have access to. Or rather are supposed to have access to.
Eat a Flower Pot Cake at Petit Audrey
The Petit Audrey café have the cutest flower pot cakes we have ever seen. Ok so in all honesty – it was the first time we saw cakes served in flower pots. They are cute as a button and you can choose from loads of different flavors. We ended up choosing a yellow rose. This one is a chocolate cake filled with Nutella and caramel. Do I need to say that it was really good? If you don’t like the look of roses you might like your cake to be a hydrangea, a gardenia or a carnation. They are presented super cut and you want to taste them all!
There are lots of cool cafés in Bangkok and this is definitely one of them. Make sure to check it out!
Get your hair done at Siam Center
I ended up getting a keratin treatment at Chalachol salon. I do believe that you can get your hair done a lot cheaper if you choose a place outside of the mall. However I wanted to try the keratin treatment and I loved the result. Mini was bored out of his mind, let it be known that it took three hours to do my hair. For the next month my hair was soft as silk. My hair usually falls off like crazy but the treatment made it stay put. It costs 5500 bath to do the keratin treatment. That is loads of money even if it is very cheap compared to Swedish prices. However, don’t buy your hair treatment products here – they are very overpriced!
